I have enabled the Karma function on each members profile.
Karma on ProBoards is used as an approval rating - by members on other members. Board members are able to smite and exalt their fellow members based on how they feel about them. All members start with a karma of 0.
If you like a member, click the Exalt link. By exalting them, you will increase their karma by one point. For example, if the user had a karma of 0, he will now have a karma of 1.
If you don't like a member click the Smite link. If the user had a karma of 0, and you smite him, he will have a karma of -1.
There's absolutely no way to find out who's been exalting or smiting you. You can only issue one exaltation or one smitation each hour. There is no way currently to track down abusers of the system, but that is planned, so beware!
I can't imagine there'll be much smiting going on here - we're all much too nice aren't we? Anyway, I though't I'd try it out. If it causes chaos I can always remove it again.
It helps other users to identify potential trouble makers and genuine people on this forum.
